The security deposit is collected via Zelle or cash at or prior to pickup. It must be received and verified before vehicle handoff.

All deposits are released via Zelle only, regardless of whether the deposit was originally provided by Zelle or cash. Deposits are returned within 24–72 hours after the vehicle is returned in the same condition, with no outstanding balances (e.g., fuel, mileage overages, tolls, or damages).
If you leave a cash deposit, please note that cash is not returned at pickup. Instead, your deposit will be sent back electronically via Zelle after the post-trip review is complete, and it will be returned to the same Zelle account that sent the funds. (If you paid cash, we’ll collect your Zelle details at pickup to process the return.)

No. The deposit is separate from your rental cost and is only held as security.

Deductions may apply for damages, smoking or cleaning fees, late returns, traffic/parking violations, tolls, or other breaches of the rental agreement.
